A player who wants to stay in the pot must match the amount of the bet that the previous active player raised. If they are unable or unwilling to do this, they must fold. This allows the next active player to raise it again if they wish.<\/p>\n

The rules of Poker are simple, but the strategies for playing it well require a combination of knowledge and instinct. Reading books on the subject, watching tournaments in Las Vegas or Atlantic City in the USA and observing experienced players can all help develop a good understanding of the game. This will allow you to make wise bets and avoid making bad decisions.
